Abuse Policy

Abuse Policy

At TCF Ventures LLC, we are committed to maintaining a secure and respectful hosting environment for all our clients. This Abuse Policy outlines our procedures for addressing and resolving abuse complaints. We take abuse reports seriously and require prompt action from our clients to resolve any issues.

Abuse complaints can be reported through our designated abuse reporting channels. These may include email (abuse@tcf.ventures), our support portal, or any other method specified by TCF Ventures LLC. Reports should include detailed information about the abuse, such as the nature of the complaint, relevant timestamps, and any evidence supporting the claim.

Upon receiving an abuse report, TCF Ventures LLC will:

  • Immediate Suspension: Suspend the affected services immediately to prevent further abuse and protect the integrity of our network and systems. The suspension will remain in effect until the client has responded to the abuse report and taken steps to resolve the issue, or until the client is actively working with us to address the concern.
  • Notification: Notify the client of the suspension and provide details about the abuse complaint. This notification will include instructions for how the client can respond to the report and resolve the issue.

Clients are required to:

  • Response Time: Respond to the abuse report within 24 hours of receiving the notification. The response should acknowledge receipt of the complaint and outline any immediate steps being taken to address the issue.
  • Resolution: Work with TCF Ventures LLC to resolve the abuse complaint. This may involve providing additional information, making necessary changes to the account or service, or taking corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Resolution Deadline: Resolve the abuse issue, or demonstrate a good faith effort to resolve it, within 5 business days from the initial suspension. This includes engaging in ongoing communication with TCF Ventures LLC to address the complaint.

If the client fails to:

  • Make a Good Faith Effort: Either not respond to the abuse report or not take appropriate action within 5 business days, TCF Ventures LLC may take further action, which includes but is not limited to:
    • Extended Suspension: Extending the suspension of services until the issue is resolved.
    • Administrative Suspension: Administrative Suspension will be at the discretion of TCF Ventures LLC and will be based on the severity of the abuse and the client's response.
    • Service Termination: Terminating the affected services. Termination will be at the discretion of TCF Ventures LLC and will be based on the severity of the abuse and the client's response.

Clients may appeal suspension decisions by:

  • Submission of Appeal: Submitting a written appeal to TCF Ventures LLC, outlining reasons for contesting the action and providing any additional information that may support their case.
  • Review: TCF Ventures LLC will review the appeal and make a determination based on the information provided and the circumstances surrounding the abuse complaint.

TCF Ventures LLC reserves the right to modify this Abuse Policy at any time. Any changes to the policy will be communicated to clients through our website, email notifications, or other appropriate channels.

By adhering to this policy, we aim to foster a safe and responsible hosting environment and ensure that all abuse complaints are handled promptly and effectively.
